    Intrigued is the fifth book in the Hudson Effect series and is David's story. Love is the last thing on David's mind, he enjoys art and feels that is all he needs. That is until he meets Dorothy at a showing.

    Dorothy is a catering manager, working at an opening when she meets David. The connection is strong but when David ignores her wishes, she is ready to let him be, but with the help of family David is able to win her back.

    This is a great story and a wonderful ending to the series. .

    David was reluctant to fall in love and Dorothy was a little hesitant. They come together at a art showing. They fall for each other. A few hiccups could dampen everything that they were working towards. Great read. .

    I've read several books written by Ali Rivers; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

    This is the fifth and final book in the Hudson Effect Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Dorothy & David; he a painter and offers to paint her picture but promises that he won’t display it or sell it. After its done he changes his mind and she’s not happy he broke his promise.

    loved it !! love this series !!! love David and Dorothy... this is their story.. a fast paced short story... David is a talented artist.. at his show.. he meets Dorothy.. she's catering the event... sparks are flying.. he wants to paint her... he promises that he will never show it or sell it.. but, it came out so perfect !! he breaks his promise and shows it... Dorothy is heartbroken with this betrayal... can he fix it ?.
